85% of American's water is hard water. This is due to the build up of minerals such as calcium and magnesium in the water. The chlorine that is used to disinfect our water from pathogens is heavely concentrated. Contaminants in the shower steam are inhaled into the respiratory system which can lead to harmful respiratory problems. Coways water softening appliance utilizes a cation ion exchange resin that replaces the minerals that cause hardness with sodium to leave you with soft water.
